Shareable.net picks the 15 best of 2009

Shareable.net, a new website exploring the potential of collaborative and common action, offers its list of the 15 best books of 2009

It’s a lively gathering of fresh perspectives and probing insights that should feed the imagination of anyone interested in forging a commons-based society. The authors range from primatologist Frans de Waal, Pulitzer-prize winning novelist Michael Chabon (writing nonfiction here), digerati blogger Cory Doctorow (writing fiction here), essayist Rebecca Solnit and OTC’s own David Bollier.

They also preview eight ‘shareable’ books coming out in 2010.
