We want to hear about the commons in your hometown, and share stories from other folks around the world
By Erin Walsh
A growing movement needs your story
On The Commons is launching a new StoryMapping Project – a way to upload and share stories of change and transformation.
It is easy to participate. Take a moment or two to share (link) your organizations Web address, link to an existing video, create a new video, or write a short piece about how your work is related to the commons. Your contribution will be uploaded to a map – so everyone can see how our stories compose a widespread movement for a commons-based society.
Click here now to share your story It is as simple as 1-2-3.
A story can be a short video, audio, photo, or even Web address that describes your work or captures a meaningful anecdote that relates to the commons. Putting our stories on a map reminds us that that we are not isolated in our work, and helps us see the collective pathways we’re forging towards a joyful, equitable and abundant future. Search on keywords or categories, or simply click on the map below, to find stories most relevant to your work and interests.
Sharing your story offers a chance to make connections with people around the world concerned about the same problems. It’s a great way to swap insights and ideas, to discover commons solutions that could make a difference in your community.
The interactive online map is where people can post experiences from their own lives and gain inspiration and practical information from what is going around the world
We look forward to hearing your story.
